A personal assistant: you write to it in your own words — no commands and no menus — and it works out what you are asking for and does it.
Mail, contacts and files are never requested. Access can be revoked at any time in your Google account.
What it is
An assistant that lives in a Telegram chat and on this site. It has no commands and no menus: you write in ordinary words, and it understands the request and carries it out.
One message may hold several requests at once — it works them out and does all of them, not half.
What it acts on
With a person's calendar: see what is on it, put a meeting in, move one, cancel one. With reminders, once or repeating. With what you asked it to remember. With the schedule it sends by itself, if you asked for one.
And with the open web: find pages and read the ones it picked, so that an answer is about the thing itself rather than a search result retold.
What it needs
For the calendar, a Google account: without one the assistant cannot see a calendar at all. Everything else works without it, straight in the chat — a reminder, something remembered, a question about the world.
This site is where an account is connected and where what has been kept for you can be looked at — the talking happens in the chat.
What it does not do
It does not read mail, contacts or files: that is not switched off in a setting, it is simply never asked of Google. From the account the assistant gets an address, a name, a language and a calendar — and nothing else.
Access can be revoked in the Google account at any time — the assistant stops seeing the calendar at once — and a chat can be unlinked from the account on this site just as easily.
