Terms of Service
What foxling is, what it does, and the terms it is used under.
About the service
foxling is a personal assistant in a Telegram chat and on the website https://foxling.rootfox.cc: it answers requests written in ordinary words, keeps a calendar through Google, sets reminders, remembers what it was asked to, and looks things up on the open web.
Account and access
A Google account is needed for the calendar; everything else works without one. Keeping access to one's own account safe is the user's responsibility, and it must not be handed to third parties.
Acceptable use
The service may not be used for unlawful acts, for sending spam, for attempts to disrupt it, or to gain access to other people's accounts.
Third-party services
Google and Telegram are separate services with their own terms and policies; foxling does not control how they work.
The service is provided as is
foxling is provided as is, without warranties. It may be unavailable, and a reminder or schedule may fail to arrive — for example, because of a failure at Telegram, Google or the model. Important deadlines should not be kept in foxling alone.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect losses or lost profit arising from the use of the service.
Suspension of access
Access may be suspended or terminated if these terms are broken.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The current version is always available at https://foxling.rootfox.cc/terms, and the effective date is stated at the top of the page.
Governing law
The law of the operator's place of registration applies.
